The Mill bar continues to be very popular and the events team is busy organising functions for us to enjoy.
We’ll keep you informed of other events but meanwhile you can come for a drink and chat on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6pm -11pm. On Friday evenings Bill serves Fish and Chips from his mobile van and you can enjoy these whilst enjoying a drink in The Mill or in the garden. We now have a small marquee so even if the weather isn’t so kind, you have somewhere to sit outside. The kids are also welcome to enjoy the various toys and games we have available for them. We even have a TV and DVD player so occasionally they can watch a film and be kept amused.
We have real ale by the cask from breweries such as Wolf, Grain and, new to us, Humpty Dumpty! There are lots of reasons to come to The Mill Bar. No membership needed, ALL WELCOME!!
The Mill Bar is a joint enterprise by The Hempnall Trust and local volunteers to provide a convivial meeting place for local people in the village. The bar provides quality wines, cask and bottled beers, spirits and an incredible selection of gins in a unique setting, the tower of the mill. All the profits from the bar are reverted to the Trust to further enable its function of providing support for local people in need.
The Mill Bar has outdoor seating suitable for families and indoor seating too.
It is possible to hire the main hall when the bar is in session in order to benefit from a fully stocked and staffed bar for your events. Please book here.
The bar itself, was lovingly built and installed by Kevin Rust Kitchens.
The Mill Bar had a very successful and widely attended opening night on 8th June 2018. Some photos of the opening are available below.
